Our seminar halls are well-equipped with advanced sound systems and projector facilities that support proper training and lectures. Seminar halls are totally air-conditioned and hold a seminar hall capacity of more than 100 individuals. About Seminars
The Commerce Department of the college organised an Extension Lecture on "Investor Awareness Program" in which the Resource Person Prof. Bhagwant Singh, Teacher Educator at DIET, Gurdaspur and Amritsar having 10 years experience as the Principal and is Resource Person of SEBI since 2016, made the students aware about Financial planning, investment -decisions and risk factors of investing in Stock exchange i.e. mutual funds etc. on 13 September 2024,
On 26th July 2024, The N.S.S unit of the college along with the team from Civil Hospital, Fatehgarh Churian organised an Extension Lecture on "How to Prevent the Spread Of Dengue and Malaria" in which S.Davinder Singh (MPHS) and S. Rajinder Singh (MPHW) along with their team made the students aware about the disease of Dengue and Malaria - How these spread and what measures should be taken to prevent them.They also threw light on the treatment of these diseases. This has been done under the movement "Har Shukarvar Dengue te Vaar".
The N.S.S Unit and the Youth Club of the College organised an Extension Lecture on "Moral Values" in which the Resource Persons S. Dilbag Singh (Lecturer of Sehaj Path Sewa, Sri Amritsar Sahib) and S. Gurwinder Singh Ji motivated the students to adopt moralistic way of life by respecting the Parents and by following the path of virtue.They sighted the examples of Bhagat Puran Singh Ji and Principal Sahib Singh Ji and said that we all must walk on the footsteps of these great personalities for the welfare of the Society and self.
The Seventh Session of the Orientation Program was successfully completed by Dr. Ruchi Kohli , Head of the Commerce Department which she made the students aware about the Banking Aspects , how to open bank accounts, KYC updating, Customer Requests forms, Deposits and withdrawal of money , NEFT information, Demand Drafts and Cheque filling etc. She also acquainted the students with basics of online and mobile banking.
