Dr. (Mrs.) Ruchi Kohli, Assistant Professor and Head of Commerce Department
Dr. Ruchi Kohli is an Assistant Professor and Head of Commerce Department in Pt. Mohan Lal SD College for Girls, Fatehgarh Churian (GSP). She has persuaded her Doctorate in the area “Impact of IT-Applications on the Performance of Small- Scale Industries: A Comparative Study of Jammu & Kashmir and Punjab States”. Her teaching and research interests focuses on E-Commerce, E-Business, IT-Applications, Business Performance and various stakeholders’ attitude measurement. She has published 13 research papers in reputed journals and books. Her research work has been acknowledged in refereed ABDC journals of repute like International Journal of Business and Globalization (Inderscience), International Journal of Indian Culture and Business Management (Inderscience), Journal of Services Research (IIMT Gurgaon), Journal of Business Management (International Science Press), International Journal of Advance Research and Innovation Ideas in Education (approved by NSL, NISCAIR and CSIR published in Gujarat) and Indian Journal of Marketing. She has authored a Book (Financial Services, B. COM Semester 1, GNDU).
She has presented papers in International Conferences (3) and attended one International Summit. She has also attended National Conferences (7) and Workshops (4).
Recently, she has attended ICSSR sponsored Two Weeks Capacity Building Program (CBP) for Social Science Faculty organized by Central University of Himachal Pradesh, Dhramshala (HP). She also held the session chair and worked as reporteire in CBP.

1) NEP 2020 Orientation and Sensitization Programme under Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Programme (MM-TTP) of University Grants Commission (UGC) Organized by Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Centre, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar from 25-12-2023 to 03-01-24.
2) National Webinar on" Financial Empowerment Through Wealth Creation" organized in joint Collaboration of SAMYAK WOMEN'S CLUB, Ahmedabad Gujarat and association of mutual Funds in India (AMFI) on 6th December, 2023.
3) 2 weeks Faculty Development Programme on Entrepreneurship (FEDP) from 3 to 17 August 2023 organized by the Institute's Innovation Council (IIC) School of Biomedical Sciences & School of Business, Galgotias University, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh.
5) Principals meet on "Organizational Challenges for Leaders in Education sector" at Hotel Ramada, Jalandhar on September 29th, 2023.
7) Worked in the ICSSR Funded Short term "Empirical Research Project entitled," Teachers Awareness, perceptions and Preparedness towards National Education Policy - 2020: A Study of Pathankot and Kangra Districts".
8) Orientation Programme is conducted from 23 May to 31 May 2024 for students in College Campus.
9) National webinar is conducted on" Wealth Creation Through Financial Planning" in Collaboration with Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI). The key Speaker was Mr. Suryakant Sharma Sr. Consultant, AMFI (former DGM, SEBI) on 8th May 2024.
10) Participated in ORFG sponsored One Day workshop on Open Access Publishing, held in The Central Sanskrit University, Vedvyas Campus Himachal Pradesh on 25th April, 2024.
11) Attended the National webinar on joint Collaboration of Faculty of Law, Dr. MGR. Educational & Research Institute (Deemed to be University), Chennai, Tamil Nadu and Association of Mutual funds in India (AMFI) on 2nd April, 2024.
12) Attended the National webinar on "Wealth Creation Through Financial Planning” organized in joint Collaboration of Doon Valley College of Education Chirao, Karnal, Haryana and Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI) on 1st April, 2024.
